Highways Maintenance Schedule
The Highways Maintenance Schedule of Rates is set out in accordance with the Method of Measurement for Highways Work and covers all aspects of highway maintenance including landscaping.
The National Schedule of Rates is principally designed for use on work with a maintenance or refurbishment bias. The lower productivity and labour intensive nature of such work is reflected in the minute values for all items - and consequently the level of the unit rates.
USERS ARE REMINDED THAT THE NATIONAL SCHEDULE IS NOT A PRICING BOOK; FURTHER, THEY ARE ADVISED TO TAKE A SELECTION OF RATES IN THE NATIONAL SCHEDULE AND TEST THEM AGAINST THEIR OWN DATA ON A REGULAR BASIS.
Effective Date of Schedule
The National Schedule is published annually in August of each year to include latest promulgated wage rates and prices for materials and plant. Users' attention is drawn to base dates for labour and materials given in the Compiler’s notes and to the listed basic prices.
There is a £6.00 or £10.00 + vat charge for postage and packing.
