Q:         Can a Contractor claim for time spent identifying and locating faults?

A:         The NSR rates include time for competent workman to locate and identify faults.  See page 2/15 para 3, headed Diagnostics.

Q:         Re painting on open railings, fences & gates is it measured both sides or does the rate include for painting on both sides?

A:         Painting to fencing is measure both sides.

Q:         Is the NSR all in labour rate suitable for dayworks?

A:         No.  The build up of the NSR rate  shown on page 2/11 of the Compilers notes does not include costs shown in the list on page 1/9 in part 1 of the NSR Building Works Schedule which lists profit as well as a large number of other costs which should be included in the daywork labour.

Q:         Can you copy and send out sections of the Schedules to sub contractors?

A:         No.  This is in breach of copyright without specific permission from NSR Management.
